As the Technical Manager at Ukuzimanya, I am thrilled to share the remarkable progress and achievements our team has made from January 2024 to August 2024. This year, we set ambitious goals to enhance our skills and improve the services we offer our clients. I am proud to say that our team has surpassed these goals, showcasing dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. 

One of our primary focuses this year has been on professional development. We encouraged each team member to pursue certifications that not only enhance their individual skill sets but also contribute to the overall growth of our company. I am delighted to announce that several team members have successfully obtained key certifications: 

• MS900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals 

• MS102: Microsoft 365 Administrator 

• AZ900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals 

• AZ101: Microsoft Azure Administrator 

• Certifications covering Sophos, Nable, and Yealink technologies 

These certifications reflect our team’s broad and deep knowledge of essential technologies, ensuring we stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. Our expertise in these areas allows us to provide cutting-edge solutions and support to our clients, further solidifying our reputation as leaders in the field. 

As we move forward, our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction remains unwavering. We are determined to continue pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve, constantly seeking new ways to enhance our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients. Our goal is to remain proactive in our approach, anticipating client needs and addressing potential issues before they arise.

Over the past nine months, I’ve had the privilege of overseeing the significant growth and development of Ukuzimanya, By implementing strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation, we’ve successfully expanded our operations and solidified our position in the market. 

• We achieved an Increase of staff by 86%. 
• Moved Offices to accommodate our growth. 
• Purchased 2 Company vehicles. 
• Formulated an Education plan so that the Staff can Grow. 
• Implemented multiple communication platforms in order to be more efficient. 
• The Company covers medical insurance for all staff. 

So much more in the pipeline to add the growth of our business. 

We’ve experienced so many challenges and hurdles over the past few months and we have kept our heads high and stayed motived to achieve our goals set out to see the improvement of our organisation. One of my proudest moments as the Operations manager of the company was the Office move. With so many late nights and early mornings, the motivation of staff to assist in bringing my vision to light we’ve managed to create a spacious yet functional space for employees can have their own work area that allows you to have your privacy and have your tone down space. 

As we continued to expand on various departments, we have been appointing new staff and motivating all staff to educate themselves to achieve more than what they currently set out to do on a day to day. We have implemented a study roadmap for all staff and have guided staff to feel comfortable in their positions within the company. 

As we continue to overcome hurdles/challenges set out to us, we remain positive that the changes we are implementing are the pillars of our growth to the company 

To achieve an estimated 80% growth in operations within the next six months, Ukuzimanya will need to implement a strategic plan focused on several key areas.

Ukuzimanya is thriving and I couldn’t be prouder of my team’s dedication. True growth is achieved when a team stands together through both good and challenging times and we have certainly achieved that.

While we continue to grow and learn, my confidence in my team remains unwavering. From our humble beginnings in my garage, we’ve come a long way. Now, we’re entering the next phase of our growth and I am excited about the milestones ahead.

Our cyber security solution, Astutus, is also gaining traction. We have partnered with organisations that recognise its value and will be marketing it on our behalf.
