Business Account Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a New Business Account Manager at Ukuzimanya in the City of Cape Town. The New Business Account Manager will be responsible for new business development, account management, relationship building, communication, and sales on a day-to-day basis.

  • Stays informed about industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies and uses insights to adapt sales approaches to stay ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities

  • Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base and increase revenue.
  • Manage Client Accounts: Oversee and manage existing client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Communicate Effectively: Utilize strong communication skills to present products and services to clients, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • B2B Sales and Account Management: Leverage experience in B2B sales or account management to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively within a team, sharing insights and strategies to achieve collective goals.
  • Understand IT Services and Solutions: Apply knowledge of IT services and solutions to better serve clients and address their specific needs.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to adapt sales approaches and stay competitive.
  • Provide Insights and Feedback: Use insights gained from industry trends and client interactions to provide feedback to the company, helping to refine products and services.
  • Prepare Reports and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Utilization: Apply knowledge and skills gained from a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field to enhance job performance.
